Free Beta Versions of Android Apps

We are moving to a new version numbering system for Alarming! and all our other apps.
Apps will be released first as free betas, with an even minor number e.g. 1.0.x or 1.2.x. Paid stable versions will be released once all the bugs have been eliminated from a beta version, and given an odd minor number, e.g. 1.1.x or 1.3.x.

Bug fixes and updates will not be applied to beta versions, unless the bug is so severe it disrupts normal usage. Beta users are encouraged to submit bug reports to code@hlidskialf.com with as much detail as possible.

We hope this model will allow more people to try out our apps, and hopefully eliminate pesky bugs in our stable versions.
